PHOENIX, AZ, January 13, 2026. Common Ground has been engaged to design and build a proprietary, fully customizable construction estimating platform, tentatively named Kanopi. The platform is scoped to take a plan set from intake to a submittal-ready bid: automated plan parsing, calibrated regional rate libraries, trade-level quantity takeoff, bid assembly, and branded PDF output built for both trade contractors and general contractors.
The engagement draws on the team's construction lineage: 20+ years in the field and a track record of 400+ projects and $300M+ in built work. That history is the calibration source. Every rate in the library traces to real jobs rather than published cost indexes.
Development begins immediately, with a verification-first mandate: no estimate leaves the system without an independent second pass. Milestones will be published here as the engine reaches production.
