Common Ground

Overview

Common Ground is a principal-led venture group built around a single premise: “We Build.” The group builds, funds, operates, automates with AI, and protects companies from the inside, carrying work from strategy through execution rather than stopping at the recommendation.

Five principals run the group, each owning one operating discipline: Jesse Fowler (Execution & Development), Alex Prince (Capital & Investment), Jimmy Khounlavong (Brand & Product Strategy), Robby Prochnow (Technology & AI Architecture), and Nick Scavio (General Counsel). The disciplines map to the group’s five pillars: brand, capital, execution, intelligence, and protection.

How the group works

Common Ground works with founder-operators running companies at $10M+ in revenue, typically businesses that have hit a ceiling where brand, capital, execution, legal, and AI all need to move at once. Engagements below that threshold are routed to APEXX AI, the group’s AI agency. The standing claim is simple: everything the group sells, it has implemented, including the AI systems running inside its own portfolio.

The principals’ prior work spans Nike, the Ritz-Carlton, Discovery Channel, and Forbes, alongside two decades each in construction, institutional capital, Fortune 500 technology, and corporate law.
