PHOENIX, AZ, June 9, 2026. Kanopi Architecture has produced its first complete submittal packet under the City of Phoenix self-certification program: a 22-unit adaptive-reuse residential project, assembled end to end through the platform's agentic drafting and document workflow.

The packet covers the full conversion scope, roughly 42,282 proposed gross square feet within an existing 65,852-square-foot concrete shell, with every city form in the package verified byte-identical against the live phoenix.gov source files before assembly. The submittal routes through a registered self-certification professional on the city's roster, with the platform doing the production lift and licensed professionals owning review and certification.

Self-certification compresses permitting timelines for qualifying projects. Making the packet production automatic is how a small team uses that lane at scale.
