What it is
The usual start of a technology engagement is a long questionnaire sent to the client's people, and the answers are only as good as their memory. Aegis Lens is built to collect those facts directly from the systems instead.
The decision
Ahead of a client call in August 2026, Zen Aegis built an early prototype so nobody would have to hand the client a long questionnaire.
Any saving it reports is a range, never a single number, and nothing reaches the client until a person approves it.
What was built
- Collect: pulls from identity, device management, cloud, code repositories, software billing, expense reports, vendor ledgers, network scans, the staff roster and a readiness survey, with a coverage map of what was read.
- Synthesize: joins it into one picture of people, systems and vendors, and queues uncertain merges for a person to confirm.
- Reason: ranks findings with evidence, such as end-of-life systems, admin accounts without multi-factor sign-in, stores of personal data, secrets in code, idle cloud, shadow AI and IT, overlapping tools and license waste; scores AI readiness across eight dimensions; drafts a 12-month roadmap.
- Deliver: nothing goes out without an approval.
Results
- A working prototype on sample data, shown in internal screens on August 18 and as a client-facing view with a recorded walkthrough on August 19, 2026.
- A named product line by September 8 and listed on September 29 as ready to show clients.
- It has not yet been run on a client environment.
