What it is
Executive inboxes eat the week. Zen Aegis built an AI triage system for its own mail first, then ran it for other organizations, with each tenant fenced off from the others at the credential layer.
The decision
When a person corrects the system, the correction is kept and can become a permanent classification rule, so the same mistake is not made twice.
Cost is tracked on every model call, and that tracking drove a documented switch of the production model.
What was built
- Built multi-tenant AI email triage across three organizations.
- Built the loop that turns human corrections into permanent rules.
- Built a check that stops duplicate sends.
- Built per-call cost tracking.
Results
- 9,803 emails triaged from April to August 2026 on Zen Aegis's own operations, reclaiming 34.7 hours a week at 100 percent on response targets.
- 12,628 emails triaged across three organizations.
- 2,120 human corrections turned into 255 permanent rules, and 114 duplicate sends prevented.
- Support tickets resolved at $0.46 each on its own stack.
