What it is
The plan covers design, marketing strategy and rollout for the adaptive reuse of a 1971 office building at 301 West Osborn into 22 residences. It was prepared for an outside marketing agency and a design studio. The plan is marked confidential, so this page records what changed between versions and leaves the plan's contents out.
Jesse Fowler wrote version 1 with an AI agent. It is dated March 30, 2026. The change log names Khounlavong as reviewer, with the title Principal and Brand and Marketing Lead.
Version 1 used colors and typefaces that matched neither Lïef brand. It spelled the name in plain capitals. Its team table had no brand or marketing role. Its buyer was described as priced out of Arcadia and Paradise Valley.
What Khounlavong did
- Opened a change log on March 30, 2026 and recorded 16 numbered changes, each with a status.
- Added the brand architecture as Section 1. It defines the company brand and the project brand, what they share, and which to use in ten named situations.
- Replaced the buyer profile. "The Refined Urban Sophisticate" became "The Unassuming Achiever".
- Corrected the buyer's position. The buyer can afford Arcadia or Paradise Valley and chooses not to live that way.
- Renamed the pillar "Design That Moves You" to "Where Science Meets Sanctuary", so that it did not borrow the design studio's own tagline.
- Widened the parking pillar to include climate-controlled storage.
- Renamed "The Midtown Moment" to "The Midtown Movement". His stated reason was that a moment is passive and a movement is active.
- Added a sixth press angle, "The Buyer Phoenix Never Knew It Had".
- Set a character-based content plan with two active voices. Fowler is the builder voice. Khounlavong is the brand voice. The construction team appears as visual proof inside their content.
- Reframed the summer phase from "Survive the Summer" to "Load the Cannon": build the content library in the slow months and release it in the fall.
- Added a brand and marketing seat to the team table, removed a retired footer credit and named Lip Loi Creative as brand steward.
- Corrected the spelling of Lïef throughout and standardized the address.
- Added a closing section that asks the agency to push back on six named areas, and states that the brand architecture and the buyer profile are locked.
Results
- Version 2.0 exists as a consolidated document in three formats, with a table of 19 changes from version 1. The files are dated April 19, 2026.
- The agency answered in writing on April 22, 2026. It called the buyer profile "tight, useful, and emotionally specific" and the character-based plan the "correct call."
- The same feedback said the six pillars give the content team "real editorial direction."
- A log of April 27, 2026 records the feedback as still unprocessed. The next step was to engage the agency or the design studio.
