What it is
A firm that runs client work needs one place for the client: the files, the signatures, the invoices and the conversation, under the firm's own brand. Foyer Hall is that place, built by Zen Aegis. Each firm gets its own brand kit, custom domain and secure sign-in, with files, signatures and invoices, and an agent interface that lets the firm's own tools work inside each client room.
In late September 2026 Common Ground's own instance went live with its first client room.
The decision
Zen Aegis hardened the product for scale and then asked Common Ground to move a real client in.
Every defect real use turned up was fixed as it was found, most of them the same day.
What was built
- Built the portal on a database with 94 row-level security policies across 31 tables, and explicit deny rules that make the decision log and signed agreements impossible to edit.
- Connected payments within about 40 minutes of an onboarding error on October 2.
- Deployed four fixes on October 3 and, after a page of notes on October 4, eight more within about 24 hours: sign-in links a mail scanner can no longer use up, an invite flow that asks for a name and password, branded reset pages and email, white label with a custom-domain option, Quiet rooms and Record voice settings, removal of metrics and milestones, and invoices that mark themselves paid.
- Fixed a pay-link error on the first client invoice on October 6 and added bank (ACH) payment within about two hours.
- Started a wire-first invoice setting for larger invoices.
Results
- Live in production as Common Ground's client portal, with the first client room open.
- The first client invoice payable by bank or card on October 6, 2026.
- An append-only decision log of 9,998 entries that cannot be edited after the fact.
- Listed by Zen Aegis on September 29 as ready to show clients.
